Africagrowth Institute is an independent company with its headquarters based in Cape Town, South Africa. The company focuses on growth opportunities in Africa and also houses the Xstrata Graduate Development Program. The main business areas are the Africagrowth Agenda Publication, Africagrowth Academy, and Africagrowth Production. Africagrowth Institute is also the proud organisers of the following conferences:
The company is also the owners of a unique South African SMME Index Social Responsibility Africagrowth Academy offers PhD Scholarships to African nationals in the area of Investment Climate Research in Africa. Scholarships are on a competitive basis with a maximum age limit of 33 years. Competition is open to only African nationals who can conduct research in English. The company also Coordinates a Graduate Development Program in partnership with Xstrata SA aimed at supporting unemployed black South African graduates to enter the job market. Africagrowth Academy This is the research and consulting aim of the Africagrowth Group. The Academy has a significant number of Visiting Fellows & Senior Fellows located throughout the continent and other parts of the world. Fellows provide research and consulting support to the Academy.
