Africagrowth Institute is an independent company with its headquarters in Cape Town, South Africa. The company focuses on growth opportunities in Africa and also houses the South African Graduate National Service Program. The main business areas are the Africagrowth Agenda Publication, South African SMME Business Confidence Index, SADC SMME Database, and Africagrowth Production.

Social Responsibility

Africagrowth Institute offers PhD Scholarships and Research Assistantships to African nationals in the area of Investment Climate Research in Africa. Scholarships and Research Asistantships are on a competitive basis. Competition is open to only African nationals who can conduct research in English. The company also Coordinates South African Graduate National Serice Program in partnership with Xstrata SA aimed at supporting unemployed black South African graduates to enter the job market.

The Institute has a significant number of Visiting Fellows & Senior Fellows located throughout the continent and other parts of the world. Fellows provide research and consulting support to the Institute.
