9th AFRICAN FINANCE JOURNAL CONFERENCE

Theme: Innovative Development Finance Research for Africa’s Development

19-20 April 2012

Venue:  The Panari Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya

As Africa begins to emerge from the current global financial turmoil, there is the need for African researchers to begin to identify ways and means of producing relevant research that can help put the continent in the right footing to compete with the rest of the world. The crisis has, therefore, reinforced the urgent need for researchers, with interest in Africa, to work together to develop a sustainable research platform that can provide support to financial and economic policy makers and structures in the continent.

The African Finance Journal and African Finance Association, in association with several academic institutions, will be hosting the 9th African Finance Journal Conference at Nairobi, Kenya. We wish to take this opportunity to invite you to submit papers for presentations at the conference.  The emphasis of the conference will be on high-quality, theoretical and/or applied research focusing on issues relevant to d finance/economics research which have special relevance to Africa.
